English is the language of the conference: submissions, publications and onsite presentations (oral and posters)


  • AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITY

It is the responsibility of the author to get all internal reviews and institution approvals prior submission.


  • PUBLICATIONS

SUBMISSION PLATFORMS

With the exception of the EPJ-N peer-reviewed papers, ALL documentation (including abstract, PPT A0 Poster, PPT A4 Presentation, Keynote Speech and Bio CV) has to be submitted at the following address.

Documentation to be provided, according to the timelines:

  • Euratom Invited (Abstract, EPJ-N paper, PPT A0 poster, PPT A4 presentation, and Bio CV)
  • MSc/PhD/ R&D Competition (Abstract, PPT A0 poster, PPT A4 presentation (pitch) and EPJ-N paper (if awarded), and Bio CV)
  • Any Keynote (Abstract to be submitted, PPT A4 presentation or Keynote speech, and Bio CV)
  • Nuclear Innovation & ENEN PhD Prizes (Abstract, PPT A0 poster, PPT A4 presentation (pitch) and EPJ-N paper (if awarded), and Bio CV)

EPJ-N Manuscript Management System (MMS) for peer-reviewed papers only.

At the conference, an iOS and Android App
An iOS and Android App will be available to all confirmed registered participants at the conferences. The app will show the programme in an interactive manner and facilitates communication among the participants, sharing all information, also enabling scheduling B2B meetings, notifications and announcements.

  • SPECIFIC EVENTS CALLS GUIDELINES

OPEN CALL – POSTER COMPETITION – PhD/MSc awards, Student competition

PhD/MSc Students (under 35 years’ old) are encouraged to submit abstracts related to the dedicated topics of the conferences. The FISA 2022 – EURADWASTE ’22 Programme Committee will select estimated 100 abstracts (50 for each conference) to be presented in posters.

The Programme Committee will give PhD/MSc awards to the ‘best 10’ out of 100 invited PhD/MSc Students. They will be invited to present a compelling 180 seconds spoken presentation of their research topic to the international Research Community during a dedicated Session of FISA 2022 – EURADWASTE ’22.

The awarded 10 PhD/MSc will benefit from the opportunity to publish free of charge related peer-reviewed papers that will be published in the international Open Access Journal (EPJ-N) FISA 2022 – EURADWASTE ’22 Awards topical issue, and later within the proceedings of the conferences.

The 100 selected PhD/MSc students for the competition will also receive financial support (estimated EUR 500) to cover partial expenses in Lyon, in France. Specific information will be given after the registration process.

OPEN CALL – POSTER COMPETITION – R&D Topics Awards

R&D topics are also studied by researchers from organisations not directly involved in projects co‑funded by Euratom. These researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts related to the dedicated topics of the conferences. The FISA 2022 – EURADWASTE ’22 Programme Committee will select 20 abstracts (10 for each conference) to be presented in posters.

The Programme Committee will give R&D Topics Researchers’ awards to the ‘best 4’ out of 20 selected. They will be invited to present a compelling 180 seconds spoken presentation of their research topic to the international Research Community during a dedicated Session of FISA 2022 – EURADWASTE ’22.

The awarded 4 R&D Topics researchers will benefit from the opportunity to publish free of charge related peer-reviewed papers that will be published in the international Open Access Journal (EPJ-N) FISA 2022 – EURADWASTE ‘22 Awards topical issue, and later within the proceedings of the conferences.

The 20 invited R&D Topics researchers for the competition will not receive financial support support (unless budget availability from the Open Poster Competition allows it, on a case by case basis, estimated EUR 500)  to cover expenses in Lyon, in France.
