Under the aegis
of the American Nuclear Society, the French Nuclear Energy
Society is preparing the organization of the eighth GLOBAL
Congress - GLOBAL 2009. A special emphasis will be given to
the liaisons between research and industrial applications
with a vision of what can be practically achieved in the 21st
century. The Congress will participate to increase international
collaboration at a moment when climate changes, non-proliferation,
sustainable development, struggle against overty are worldwide
concerns and important decisions must be taken in the nuclear
field.
